Recording studio set-up...

I am looking for people who have some expertise and/or equipment and may be seriously interested to join on a project of starting recording studio, based on analog equipment. I have Ampex MM1200 and possibly Otari MTR-10 or MM120. Melbourne area.

That specifies one of two popular places on opposite sides of the earth. Nothing in your post or user profile gives the reader any clue as to which one. There are people from both on this forum.

I personally sold off all of my analog recording stuff years ago. I just use Sonar now for limited tinkering. I did some part time work in recording studios, but that was 1968 to 1972.

I am working on the same idea, with the only digital stuff being an interface and a computer. I am wanting to buy a simple two channel interface soon, after that i am keeping with the analog.
