I've build a speaker setup with closed cabinets for the mid/high's and transmissionlines for the low end.
The only thing left to do is to apply damping material in the transmissionlines.
I know that the damping influences the impedance of the TL but that is not an issue since i am using seperate amps for the TL's.
Using more damping material decreases the amount of high frequencies radiated by the port but what should i look for when using speakerworkshop?
Does the output of the port have to fall of above the resonance frequency with a first order slope?
any input would be welcome
Kees.
