Hello ! :D

In many small guitar-amplifiers has a 8 inches loudspeaker :

Peavey Blazer 158
Marshall MG15 CD/CDR/CDX
Fender Frontman 15 G/R

and many other....

The original loudspeaker have a good quality but if i will
a best quality speaker i have a very little choice.

The typical speaker climbed on on these amps is of this type:

Imp. : 4 or 8 Ohms
Diameter : 8 inch (20 mm)
Voice coil : 1 inch (25 mm)
Basket : pressed steel
Cone : paper
Cone surround : paper or treated paper
Magnet : ferrite 3.3 inch (86 mm)
total weight : 2.2 lb (1 Kg)

my desire would be to replace with a loudspeaker so built
..... ..... .....
Voice coil : 1.5 inch (38 mm) :D
Cone surround : treated cloth .. :D
.... ..... .....

I have found only these (but only 4 Ohms type)

--- to be continued --- (telephone acc. )

.... .... ....
I have found only these :
http://www.sica.it/index.htm

*steel basket - ferrite magnet* Type Z004640 4 Ohms
and *dual cone * Type Z004670 4 Ohms
but 8 Ohms version doesn't exist... :bawling:

The long and the short of it is that for replace a 12" or 10"
inches speakers i have a lot of choice but for 8" nothing ! :dead:

every suggestion is always welcome ! :)

bye :wave2:

P.S. sorry for my terrific english ...:trash:
