Predicting the effect of changing baffle dimensions?

Any way to do this with any hope of even the roughest accuracy?

I'm interested in adapting an existing TMWW design for a center channel (W T/M W) which would of course entail a drastic change in effective baffle width, from 8 inches or so to a couple of feet. Is there any useful method to predict the effects of this, short of measuring?

Google for "PVconsultants" & download the BDS simulator. A "before" and "after" simulation may be helpful.

I like The Edge, because it's easy to move things around and try different configurations. BDS is more accurate, feature rich, and more difficult to use.
