Has anyone got any reccomdations for a decent PC sound card for PC based test and measurement.
I currently have a Hercules Muse XL which is OK for general use. However when I use a PC based signal generator the output is very badly distorted and high frequencies.
I guess that the ADC converter is as bad when taking measurements.
I've been looking at the Creative Pure Bit USB External (£40)which is 24bit 96Khz. I know there is better spec'ed ones out there but my PC T&M software supports upto 16bit 96Khz.
This won't just be used for testing speakers, I would like a good clean sine wave & clean measurements by the ADC upto 20Khz.
Anyone????
