What are the implications of removing the existing Zobel network from the xover for the mid-woof driver?
A certain speaker maker claims that by removing the Zobel network, the transparency is noticably improved. But by doing so, they also have to change the value of the series inductor.
They also place the LRC shunt network after the series inductor (in previous version, the LRC was placed at the input of the xover). The difference is better bass dynamic.
The speaker configuration is D'Appolito.
