For my mini monitor speakers, I will need to use some BAF/dacron stuffing.
The crossover is mounted inside the box, so the BAF might come iin contact with the resistors.
Is this a bad thing - could this cause problems? I'm thinking of melting or getting on fire?
I tested on a piece of BAF with a cig lighter, and it melts rather easely, even catches on fire...

Yes, that's possible if you drive your speakers with lots of power. I saw it in British minimonitors and cheap disco boxes.
