quad driver reflex vs single driver horn as midbass ?
Default quad driver reflex vs single driver horn as midbass ?

reflex - goes lower for given box - somewhat less sensitive - with 4 drivers not bad but driver cost goes way up - sensitivity might be a bit low for flea power tube amp

horn - more complexity in cutting, larger, potential for coloration due to folds needed to keep cabinet depth reasonable with lower cutoff.

There are a lot of quad 10 cabinets for bass guitar - thermal compression can be relatively low.

If not for cost and old age, I might try a 4-10 to compare to small midbass horn.

What makes the best modest sized midbass horn other than John Inlow's straight horns?

Would the decision to implement such a design depend on the chosen high frequency limit ? A Quad array, like the diamond pattern ?
