DSP controlled active speaker, adaptive levels based on volume?

I was looking at pairing a minidsp with an icepower amp.

I was curious if it was possible to have an 'adaptive' filter/eq dependent on the volume?

E.g. low to reasonable volumes have a bass boost (and lowered mids) to compensate for small drivers, but then roll it off at higher volumes?

How would I go about achieving this? THanks.

The 2X4 HD plug-in has a compressor/limiter that you could look at over at minidsp.com. You may have to apply bass boost in one section (PEQ or a peak filter) and let the limiter clamp down on the boost at higher levels. I think you're out of luck if you have a standard 2X4 minidsp.

Yes, I've found several solutions that follow ISO226 standard contours, but what if I want to custom tailor my own to overcompensate for smaller drivers and cabinet volumes?

The Sure ADAU1701 has the same DSP, but you use Sigmastudio to configure/program. It has the bass boost function you are looking for. It works well and also the DSP board is much cheaper than minidsp.
