Hello,
I want to build a new pair of speakers.
I will use this speakers, because I already have them from other projects:

- Tweeter : 27TBCD/GB-DXT H1499
- Mid woofer : SB17CAC35-4
- Subwoofers : SW26DAC76-4

The design will be like the one in the picture (Barefoot Sound )
Subwoofers on the side
Amplifier with DSP : Hypex FA503

Transients are very fast, but the details is to little.
they have no refinement, no depth ...

Having owned both I would say the CAC has very good accuracy but yeah, the Satori is simply at a higher level of performance when you compare them side by side.

Their biggest difference being that Satori has 2 copper sleeves in the motor gap whereas their normal SB version has only 1 (which is more than any other brand in the same price range). That alone accounts for the major drop in noise floor in the Satori that results in better dynamics & microdetails which of course impresses you.

Construction details:

I need to crossover at 100Hz & 1,6-2KHz

I think I will use the SATORI MW16P-4 for 100Hz-2KHz

Volume
Subwoofers = 24 Liters (closed box)
Mid = 5 Liters (closed box)

Do you think the bass speakers have to be mechanically linked?

Or is it enough to catch them on the box with screws?

My actual tweeter is Seas 27TBCD/GB-DXT H1499
I have used up this tweeter so far thanks to the good off-axis response, but it's not the best tweeter I've ever heard.
It does not have much detail, accuracy, and has a metallic character.

I'm wondering if I can not find a better tweeter with the same off-axis response.

What do you think ?

Did you hear the following Tweeters?

SB26CDC-C000-4
sb26adc-c000-4
DA25TX00-08

They seem to have a good response off-axis.

By the way, I want the tweeter to be metallic or ceramic (for good transients)

Or did anyone try to put metallic tweeters on the waveguide?
