Looking to buy tools to be able to measure speakers to redesign my crossover, also later on I would like to use the tools for room measurement etc.
I was looking into couple of mics, as I already have a focusrite scarlet 2i2.
My two options are:

The miniDSP is got a built in audio interface, which is nice because I don't have to worry about my audio interface calibration.
But isn't it a limitation as well? So when measure my speakers, I will drive them with my amplifier. Shouldn't I worry about the amp's characteristic? Is it not something what I should consider?
