First, i'd make that slight modification to speakers from this schematic.

https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/atta...difikacija-png

Don't touch the woofer but use 6.8uF and 2.2ohms shunt with midwoofer, buy 0.47uF small foil cap and 0.5mH coil (per speaker). It is mild change but quite effective. I order my air coils from hificollective.

Make the mod and listen how it sounds and if it makes a difference in clarity to you. If you're satisfied, then wait some more untill you do the anechoic chamber measurements. You should ask them down to what frequency the chamber is effective. If it is over 300Hz then you can use it but the results shouldn't differ that much from what you've achieved in your flat.

As for large capacitors, there are quite a few over at Madisound also: MDL Electrolytic Capacitors 250VDC
These are the parts what I found:

mid:
0.5mH - 000-0950 0.5mH Jantzen Air Core Wire Coil AWG17, 1.2mm diameter wire | Hifi Collective - 4.49
0.47uF - 001-0618: 0.47uF 800Vdc Jantzen Silver Z-Cap | Hifi Collective - 11.39
7uF/6.8uF - 001-0258: 6.8uF 400Vdc Jantzen Cross Cap Capacitor | Hifi Collective - 2.81
2.2Ohm - https://www.hificollective.co.uk/cat...r-p-10182.html - 1.05

tweet:
2.2Ohm - https://www.hificollective.co.uk/cat...r-p-10182.html - 1.05
5.2uF - https://www.hificollective.co.uk/cat...cross-cap.html - 2.52

So the total price with these parts would be around 50. Is it reasonable?

For tweeter you already have cap and a resistor (i think it is bennic cap so not bad at all). 0.47uF you buy at any electronic parts shop (Wima or similar). It is not critical component because it is in parallel with midwoofer coil. For resistor also - it is not a critical position. You can safely use THIS.

When we make it sound and measure good with regular components, i'll suggest where, on schematic, would be wise to invest in high quality components. In some places the difference is impossible to perceive or measure.

Still stuck with this project as I'm thinking to send them back to fix the drivers (I think they don't effect the sounds, mostly annoys me), but they would take them away from couple of WEEEEEEEKS.... I will go to visit my parents in couple of weeks for a long period of time, so I might will send them back then. And do the mods later on.

Because of the surround/cone issue ? It might be worth doing it out of precaution.

Yes this is what I think too, so I have to wait a bit until my long holiday.

Meantime I'm building a sub, so I can try out some full-range music. I'm not sure that is something what I want, but I want to try.
