ok,

theoretical design.

Regular box... say 12w x 19h x 7d.

Then inside insert 2 sonotubes cut length wise, 19in long so they look like this:

with the sides of the enclosure having the sonotube glued on.

Now there are 4 voids on the corners. Fill these with sand.

behind the driver put some of those deflex panels.

does this make sense?

Apart from the Deflex, ( that I have found ineffectual), it sounds like an idea well worth a try.

Could end up being quite heavy though!
