Hello everyone, I am a beginner and ask for advice to build a pair of Paul Camordy Speedsters.
Having at home a pair of Tang Band W5-1685 5 "Underhung Midbass Driver, I would like to use these instead of the project woofer. Is it possible to use it without changing the crossover?
If not, what could I change?

Extremely unlikely.
If you want to substitute, then you'll need to measure the TBs in the enclosure and basically design the new xover from scratch.

IIRC, part of that design was getting a ribbon tweeter in there because the 4" midbass could extend pretty high up.

With a 5", I'd be leaning towards a 0.75" dome, and then you really are on a new speaker.
