Hello everybody,
I have a question about a speaker i am designing.
I have the Seas CA22RNX 8" woofer and would like to use that in a Transmission Line design.
For the mids i am considering the Morel MDM55 2" dome or the Monacor SPH102kep 4".
The tweeters i have in mind are the Scanspeak R2604 ring radiator or the HiVi RT2CA/RT2HA planar.
First option:
Seas CA22RNX to about 800 hz.
Morel MDM55 from 800 hz to about 5000 hz.
Scanspeak R2604 or HIVI from 5000 hz.
Second option:
Seas CA22RNX to about 500 hz.
Monacor SPH102kep from 500 hz to about 3000 hz.
Scanspeak R2604 or HIVI from 3000 hz.
Third option:
Seas CA22RNX to about 2000 hz.
Scanspeak R2604 or HIVI from 2000 hz.
Which option do you prefer and why?
I would appreciate your thoughts on this.

Thanks for the reply! Never thought about waveguides or horns thus far.
What about a tweeter like this TW030WA11_12
This seems to be able to cross as low as 1500 hz.
Thanks! Didn't consider a waveguide/horn yet. What about this tweeter: Wavecor TW030WA12. Crossing at 1500 hz seems ok.
