give it some break-in time, or it ll not perform as advertised:

I have used that woofer and tweeter before but not in this combination. I found the tweeter to be too colored and very, very bright The woofer was not large enough for much bass, but its presentation was very focused. I am not sure what fiber the woofer is made of, but it tended to actually shed fibers in my listening room. It requires a high-quality amplifier, as it is very picky about what it is fed. If not fed a quality signal the woofer tends to make a rough barking sound.
