Putting together first crossover from a kit. I will mount all on some type of board and affix to the bottom of the speaker cabinet.

I am aware of the rules for placement of inductors but I have not read anything about running of the connecting wires in a crossover.

Is it a problem if crossover wires of opposing polarity are run in parallel? In some instances this could simplify design and construction.

Thank you for the info. I don't have a board yet and am presently designing the layout.

There are a couple of ways the components can fit on the board but I haven't gotten into the wiring layout to confirm that either will work. That's the next step.

The board will be close to 8" x 5" and will touch the eggcrate foam on each side.
