I measured TSP and what I obtained is similar to datasheet. The qts is a little lower but all the rest is ok.

I mean, with classic measurement you only get the classic T/S parameters, which is maybe the same as on the datasheets, but check your driver advanced parameters and use it in the Toolbox software.

Maybe the classic T/S is valid at Fs but you use your driver only at Fs? Which is around 20Hz?

The TSP have been used for years as a mathematical model to calculate the load for a woofer.. They are valid at the fs and it is ok but in the calculation it needs to consider also the alfa value, leaks, added resistance... I will try to use Advanced parameters but this woofer is weak.

The 4-ohm version of the driver was mentioned, which was not so bad. It has a little stronger motor with the same cone assembly. Check BL²/Re.

I can not judge . But for my experience a muddy bass agrees with simple measures.
Can you record a spectrogram while you are listening to such a muddy bass?

Hi at all.
I mounted the Ciare HW321 in place of the 26w.
Immediately difference was enormous.
Now bass is deep and punchy, you can feel the body of the sound. By now I am happy that the room is ok.
This is a very great driver, solid construction and very dinamic. It brings music inside the room, now many details appears in the low frequencies.

congratulation with the new Ciare...there are something with those PA unit,,,that ordinere

hifi woofer can not do...

So you replaced a 89dB woofer with a 93dB woofer - gaining 4dB. Did you increase the value of the series inductor with the woofer to account for the increased sensitivity? any other crossover changes? or just swapped drivers?

Little modifications to the mid/tw part because of the increased sensitivity of the woofer.
Right now I wanna share this speaker so I attach measurements at 600mm distance of each driver on axis.
I attach also measured in-box impedances and Nearfield measurements of mid/woofer/port.

I Attach also diffraction /merging files and the project xover itself to be used with vituixcad, if someone would give his 2 cents.
