I have 2 scan speak P17WJ-00 6.5” woofers. The rubber surrounds are partially separated from the PP cones. I contacted scan speak to seek advice for an appropriate glue. They use a high tech welding process (corona) during manufacture but suggested super glue (cyano). All of the super glues I saw warn that they should not be used on polypropylene. Madisound recommends Mcnett seal cement. Anyone have any experience with this situation?

I have refoamed Vifa C17 and Proac 3.5 ScanSpeaks using the glue supplied with the foam surrounds by www dot audiofriends dot nl. I am pretty sure you can source something like this more locally. It looks like a PVA glue but dries faster, yet not too fast. It allows you to make adjustments. It is white but dries transparent.
