I am looking for a good quality, OEM style midrange that fits the following requirements:
5" to 6" diameter. A closed box (Q=.7) f3 point of between 90 and 130 Hz. 30mm+ voice coil although I would settle for 25mm. A 2nd or 4th order butterworth roll-off at around 3500-4500 Hz at any angle from 0 degrees to 45 degrees off axis. A very smooth response in the passband. Reasonably low distortion and a decent waterfall. Efficiency is not a major concern but all other things being equal, the greater the better. Priced at around $30 or so in 100 lot quantities. If anyone has suggestions or recommendations, I would be greatful. |
