Back to the real solution. Standard topology 3 way crossover. No Mickey Mouse first order noobish hoey! We're gonna hack the three way classic design:

If we have the go ahead on this, I see just a bit of level adjustment down on the mid and tweeter to do, because metal is about 3dB quieter. The bass section can't be hard. Troels has already used 4.7mH and 47uF with the excel metal bass.
