Figured out the answers to most of the questions I had myself.
One other thing that became clear is that the L26RO4Y isn't that great a driver at least for my purpose / crossover point. Too much distortion between 60-120Hz probably from the high inductance? Both L26ROY D1001 and the new XM001 seem better (though in a slightly box though this isn't an issue).
