hi members

finally get my active 3 ways done as shown .. but not the end of the story yet :D

now i am stuck with the placements of these big bulky enclosures ... actually thought of building one from scratch but happen to get these speaker enclosures for free ... my friend that was kind enough to give it to me (original speakers blown)

first few photos shown where the originally intended location of the speakers to be ... but i ran into thin sound stage problem having the vocal is not so clear. However if i listened to one of the speaker right in front of them or far away from the actual listening positing(the chair) ... the vocal reveals its clarity and overall sound was very well balanced.

Now i am stuck with the new odd position of the speakers having need to toe in them 45 degress to make them sound acceptable at my listening position. BTW i also played with the Equalizer APO to raise up the vocals a little. FYI the speakers were active biamped. And EXCUSE ME for the wiring mess.. !!! :D:D:D especially the amplifier :D:D:D. room just being through renovation process and the chassis for the amplifier is not ready yet ... will be getting it done soon. :D:D:D

My question is there any other alternative positions for floor stander speakers to make them sound acceptable in a small room?

thanks

Update ... With these stands and move the speaker back to their original position and have them raised up tweeter level to ear level ... The sound was so clear with the vocal so warm and rich ... Bass boominess were also gone now with clean tight bass ... Thanks so much for the idea ... Photos shown how they look now
