I'm looking at building the Strassacker Alcone Fermat:
Strassacker, Komponenten: Lautsprecher, Frequenzweichen, Bauelemente
I can currently buy them for 280 euro per speaker instead of the original 450, which is what normally the drivers alone would cost.
I can't find much on it online besides a praising article in German magazine Klang & Ton, but I've noticed they are positive just about any speaker kit.
Can anyone tell me if the Fermat is any good? Any experience with Alcone drivers?
And a generic question - would using bitumen for damping be beneficial?
