Troubleshooting A Tricky Crossover

I'd think the baffle/horn is the right logical move considering what you said the other day.

The issue was with mod delay parameters I completely forgot about, and also placement of the L-Pad attenuator. I put it before the high-pass filter this go 'round, and the phase/impedance completely leveled out. (see attached photos: system impedance/phase in blue, the response graph was taken at 3' and 2' [blue and purple respectively])

Used the REW room simulator for the speaker placement (looks skewed to the right because the right wall is wonky—the front wall is a recessed area with a slightly different width from the rest of the room). Running a single big-cab 15 in the back left corner, and a resonator in the niche off to the right to take care of a really nasty standing wave that causes a 45Hz suck-out. Currently using Volumio on a RPi 2 as a source, Emotiva TA-100 integrated, spare SVS plate amp for running the sub crossed at 80Hz. A little crossover box with binding posts will be in the works next month.
