Does cabinet depth affect BSC roll off?

Or is it just cabinet width?

I'm wanting to modify and existing design (Kairos) to make cabinet shorter but deeper, keeping front baffle width and volume constant.

Could I run into issue with a thicker sounding lower mid-range? The Kairos will be high-passed above 200hz as part of a 3-way... I cant picture if the baffle loss at these frequencies is due to a full wrap-around/cancellation involving the entire cabinet, or only a function of propagation off the front baffle?

The width is the primary factor in where the BS is, but height will also play a role (in actuality the shorter of the width or height is dominant, but the entire baffle plays a role).

Depth will have at least a subtle effecxt on the shape of the ripplte as the speaker goes thru the transition.

Changing the depth has virtually no effect unless you place the speaker against a wall.
