5-way active filtered living room set, jbl altec vitavox mccauley urei amcron

Hello,

My name is Juul, i'm new to the forum.
I live in Holland and am 23 years old.

I'm building a 5way active filtered living room set.
I will start with the 3way top cabs.
Speakers: JBL 2205H, 2123H an 2405H

There are no screws visible in the cabs

I hope you'll enjoy following this thread

greeting Juul :D

Juul, Is there a compression driver horn tweeter between the 2123H and 2405H.

The 2405H Ultra-High Frequency transducer is recommended for over 6.5Khz use. 90Hx25V

The 2123H 10" midrange polar response data suggests a crossover under 1.8kHz is ideal to produce a smooth SPL. Several 90H x 40V horns would have a smooth polar match to the 2123H at 1.7-1.8kHz, a few are short enough for close time alignment.(SEOS12=3.6" is 90Hx40V, Faital STH100=3.4" is 80Hx70V

The Drew Daniels old-school paper, "THE ANCIENT AUDIOPHILE'S QUEST FOR THE ULTIMATE HOME SYSTEM" has launched the deams of many diy'ers.
