Well that tweeter T35B needs a cap. Either internal or external but no way that a tweeter can run fullrange. So if it isnt damaged you should aim for a value that brings you near the recommended crossover point of 3.5kHz. I actually cross my T35 (same tweeter on the LT-15) a little higher. If you want i can check the value of my caps.

Recommended crossover was the x-36 for a standalone T35/T-35B

Yes, Please!! And thank you!!

Ok sorry for the delay in response.

So original cap on my tweeter horn was 3uf
I replaced with a high quality sandwich of (0.47+0.52+0.52+0.01)=1.52uf
I started with just 0.47 and the small bypass 0.01uf and added untill i liked it. That's why I ended up with two units of .52. If i new i would stop at 1.5 i probably would have started and ended with a good 1.5uf cap from the start but i kept this sandwich because the money was spent. Trashing that and re-spending on a single 1.5 uf unit wasn't in the cards.

Thanks
Paba

Thanks all for the replies, and especially you Paba for digging the info out of your speakers as I lnow they are not easy to open up.

I have taken my E-Vs out of service for now until I get the parts and pieces together, so far I do not think I did any damage to the tweeter, but want to play it safe.

Thanks again all!
