Havent made any changes yet. Planning to dismantle the system and cut the horn in such way that i easily can undo the modification.
Cut it in two places - 200 and 300 cm2 start area.
Want to try both 8,10 and 12 Inch drivers

Only to test it, what about the Visaton BG20? Cut the whizzer cone and dustcap, make 4 or 6 holes of 6mm dia. in the beginning of the cone and glue a bigger dustcap. A little bit of damping material on the pole plate and one or two further magnets on the back. 10gr. mms and Qtc of 0,36, hi Vas and low res frequency for very very low costs.
Fostex fe206 is among the drivers, this has the same mms as BG20, but more Power, and - yes, i planned removing the whizzer !
I have done the cutting, the start area`s besides original is now 200 - 315- and 450 cm2 , will also do some testing regarding the floor distance - it has always been placed close to the floor, but i has given an uneven response at listening position.
