Default Woofer placement and floor bounce

My main speakers are three way open baffles with the woofer placed low and crossed over low (300hz) in part to counteract floor bounce.

It works well.

I'm currently working out details for another system in my lounge and pondering the same kind of layout. The difference is that these speakers will be sitting on the step of a split level floor. To the rear the woofer to floor distance would be the same as my current ones.

But to the front, the floor will be 15 inches lower.

Any idea how this will affect floor bounce? The same as mounting the woofer 15 inches high, the same as mounting it at floor level, or somewhere in between?

They are dipoles in the bass.

I had 15" just about same height from floor and i had to eq 200-300hz area.
Could depend room height but when lifted to 80cm it sounded better and had better integration with mid and tweeter.

but yeah 100-200hz looks much better measured when bass is really low
