Default Parallel Seas Loki II - how to modify crossover?

Hi all.

I'm considering building the Seas Loki II kit (Madisound) but perhaps with 2 drivers paralleled per unit. The standard crossover is as per attached picture.

My understanding is that halving the impedance means inductors in the crossover circuit must be halved also, while capacitors must be doubled.

First question: is this principle correct?

Second question, what about the series 2R7 and parallel 8R2 resistors in the tweeter circuit? What do I do with those?

Regards

Sheldon

You will get lobing issues and the baffle size affects frequency response. It seems easier and better to get a kit that you are happy with without modification.

Here is a Finnish kit that adds a P18 woofer to the same coaxial T18 By SEAS.
Aw-36X rakennussarja - Hifitalo The configuration is 2.5, the woofer has an extra coil and is in series with the coaxial woofer. Sorry but I donät have the schematics.

By the way I like my T18s very much in sealed 9 liter box. In a small room it gives very solid and clean bass. I have also a 2x15" subwoofer for movies.
