B&W Signature 800 upgrade diamond tweeter

I don't know why B&W don't just engineer their crossovers with the same attention to detail as their drivers. With the moulded, shaped, mid and tweeter enclosures adding a shallow waveguide to the tweeter, no matter how small, would be rather easy too.

Then they could have a speaker with excellent on and off-axis performance. Sure they'd have to drop their high xover point and simple crossover philosophy but that's never been the route to audio nirvana.

Things improved with 2.order on the tweeter. But maybe 3.order is even better - I have to try it as well.

But before modifying the crossover again I would appreciate any thoughts on Shc’s schematic and in particular if the elevated level around 1500 Hz is a problem. And if so, can this be adjusted easily?
