The 5W4211 could be also a good replacement - go to
https://www.lautsprechershop.de/hifi/dappo.htm
and the attached pdf and jpg files
Main difference is according the datasheets the magnet size/weight and thus different force factor B x l and Qes

TBH, tiefbassuebertr speaks a language entirely of his own. I always later regret getting involved in his threads.

I never know what he is on about really.

I suppose he is some self-described expert on fixing old speakers, who actually gets his knowledge by rudely demanding answers at this forum from a few who actually do understand the issues.
This statements are absolutely incomprehensible.
In post #1 there is no ambivalent resp. unclear wording in the question.
But unfortunately there are members who find an exact question asked to be completely unclear or vague - go to post #6
In the meantime I know, that both electrical and audible differences of the mentioned driver models from headline are negligible.

Now I have a similar problem with the same model from FOCAL, "ARIA 5" (from "POINT SOURCE" series, released sometime between 1988 and 1990 - go to the attached images of other devices from the same model) concerning damage voice coils of this kevlar drivers (unfortunately an old NAP250 without DC protection was in use).

One possibility is a voice coil repair (I already ask therefore via e-mal under info@focal-naim.de)
Another possibility is a replacement of new driver with similar sonic character.

Who know, which currently available drivers have similar parameters and sound properties than this old kevlar versions ?
Thank you very much for an information.

Outch ! All the drivers woofer/tweeter are hard to find. I see this website : https://vintageaudio.dk/focal-speakers/
The problem is the form factor of the chassis.
See Audax HM130C0 , seems to be a drop in replacement, not the same colour and sound.
Audax proposes other cone paper and aerogel.
If the form factor is not a problem, you redraw the front, you don't miss choices in new drivers.

Note a friend of mine who likes this kevlar sound bougth in this new line the 936 and he is happy :

Problem with the foam of this tweeter on an other speaker.

Thank you for quick reply.
BTW: Foam surrounds are much more easy to replace than a restoration/refurbishing of a burned voice coil - go to

The HM130C0 from Audax could be a replacement. In the attachment the overview of the old ones and alternatives.
I am waiting first to the reply from Naim Audio before start with replacement types.
For longer time I have heard from a friend, that anywhere (where the old Focal production facilities were located) burned voice coils will be restored using the old production equipment.
I will certainly find out in the NA reply whether this service was only offered temporarily a few years ago or is currently still offered.
