It's always the reality of diminishing returns as the AE drivers already have crazy low inductance distortion. If you want lower distortion driver then the underhung dipole-drivers are probably a better option: Acoustic Elegance • View topic - TD6H Klippel Results from diymobileaudio.com If we assume this stays true then at least in that operating range the inductance distortion is already basically 0. The Bl distortion, however, is not where the underhung dipole driver would perform better.
