Default Speaker brand confusion

Hello!
I found 2 pairs of used Ohm BR-8 speakers for $500.
Now to my question, is this a white-van or name ripoff brand?
Are they completely different brands? And should I avoid these speakers?
This is Ohm Professional website: OHM | Professional Loudspeakers
And this is the respected Ohm Acoustics website:
Ohm Speakers | Custom Audiophile Speakers for Music & Home Theater
