Default non conventinal "vintage" 3way project : phivoc

I am starting the thread after some discussions in the sub enclosure thread, because I want it now to be a conventional one box cabinet. The building is now in good progress, but I will probably need some help for tuning frequency / port aspect of the project.

Here is the description :

Using for Medium and High frequencies the speakers of the Philips 22RH453 , and add Bass with Mivoc AW3000 big 30cm Woofer, I love that big thing ! Making two conventional 3 ways intagrated cabinets.
I like the sound of the Philips Drivers, and generaly the vintage designs with big Woofers.
For the Woofer I will use a separate amp/filter , generaly used for sub enclosures. I like this solution because it solves Impedance problems of the 4Ohm speakers and cross freq and gain of bass can be tunes with knobs, and also phase invertion.
I have bought 2 such devices, cheaper than the Mivoc things. Ok, probably not so good, but , money ... Power is 80W each.

Here is aprox the shape of the housing :

W360mm , D430 , H830

I will maybe post some pictures of the building if people like it.

I am very excited with the project. I don't know if it will finally sound well, and this is part of the mystery and excitment !
It is my first design and realisation !

cheers all ! and thanks again for such who helped me in the previous thread :

Default Volume of the amplifier : problem ?

In the upper side there is the closed volume for the medium. As You can see on the previous picture, the amplifier is mounted on top of the enclosure. I want that because I want to have the tuning knobs accessible. The problem (?) is now . Part , let say 1/3 of the height of the sealed volume is taken by the depth of the amp. There is enough place for the medium chassis to take place, plus some centimeters, but is it a problem acousticaly ? The net volume of the box is ok for Vb. I will also put some whool or absorbant inside, as it was in the Philips driver.

here is some basic section sketch :

the first box is done . test : not so bad ! I am happy.
The question is : it sounds better with speaker in phase, as if, theoricaly it should be in phase opposition... ? I will soon post pictures.

After some hours : I like it very much.
Further more, I would like to reduce a little medium and high freq. Using a resistor in series with the closed med/high box. Boxsim gives me 1 Ohm. How to chosse and find a potentiometer with this Power/Ohm caracteristics ? I will go to my close elec shop there and ask men in.
Cheers
