Could someone please advise on the following?
I read here Bypassing that for crossovers Cascade Bypassing translates to a much 'better' sound. Is that true? What would the scientific explanation be to this method? Would Cascade Bypassing of capacitors yield a better result than a 'Normal Single Bypass'? Or would it vary from case to case? Which capacitors sounds best for Bypassing?
Could one do the same with Resistors in a crossover, say instead of a single resistor, if one were to use two in series & two in parallel to come with the original resistor value would it be better than using a single resistor? If so could one please advise the theory behind this? Are there any other methods used in passive crossovers resistors to 'improve' the sound as similar to what is advised for crossover capacitors?
Lastly, instead of using a single inductor in a crossover, like capacitors could multiple inductors be used to improve the sound quality? If so, could someone please advise the configuration of multiple inductors, that would have the same value as the original target inductance?

Don't put film caps ( or anything) else on top of power resistors.
Parralel caps either total to get the value required right or sometimes the smaller values are better quality capacitors which take up too much room or cost too much to make the whole capacitor . Foget series or parralleling inductors unless you are using up surplus units from your parts box. Same for resistors unless you need more power handling.

The reason to bypass a cap is if you are forced to a very large electrolytic, bypassing it with a film may provide better performance. It can also lead to problems with resonance within the two caps. Paralleling two caps is done so you can get the correct value. Sometimes you can't get a cap within 5%.
