I've searched, and can't find much about Faital. Does anyone have any feedback on their CDs?
http://www.usspeaker.com/Faital Pro HF10AK-1.htm Thanks! |

There has been some talk about them here, tho they still don't seem well known. I do think someone who owns them posted.
They specs look great, I'm very tempted myself.

Yo Matt, what are you planning? I saw you got a couple 2118s from the same guy I got some from.

Matt, if these are going in a car, you might be better suited looking for something smaller. If PE has something you want, hit a brother up...I know a guy who knows a guy who can get their wholesale pricing.
If it's for the house, carry on. |

What's up Jason? You're just the man I had in mind when I put together the new system for my car. I have a pair of 2001s, but their HUGE diameter doesn't let me shoehorn them between the blower motor and kickpanel metal. Worse, I'd be successful with about 0.5" more. I even tried a hammer, but no luck beating out the space...
So alas, I'm shopping for something that is less than 4.25" O.D., and these Faital Pros look good - on paper. Not sure how big of a step down from the TADs they are from a sound quality perspective. You've got a PM! Thnaks to everyone else! |

Has anyone measured the distortion performance of the HF10AK?
They claim "extremely low distortion", whatever that means... Does anyone own them? If I can get a loaner I will measure the distortion and post the results, but $200 is a little more than I can burn at this time just to check it out. |
