As I took the advise from another user on this forum(can't remember the name...sry)...I glued the outer first making sure the surround was as centered as I could make it(I used a digital caliper set to ensure it was very close on the outside. Using tiny clamps, glue the surround and wait 24hrs. Then the cone. I didn't use shims to keep it centered. I just let gravity hold it where it naturally sit. Then, carefully glue the surround to the cone (making small adjustments before the glue cured) with a small brush. Then wait some more. After all said and done...it was time to test. Voice coil didn't rub!!! I was in business. Tested at higher volume and it worked perfectly. Now, they sit on my shelf, sounding great once more. Hope it all turns out well for you! :grouphug:
