The TL design has been around for many years and there are many designs around from commercials speakers manufacturer such as IMF. Its popularity has not caught on among speakers designers today. I know there is still one manufacturer, PMC a diagram of their speakers is attached. From what I can see from this design the advantages are:
1. reasonable size enclosure about 40" high and 16" deep for a 2.5way system
2. It claims to be get down to 28Hz(-3dB)
The above applies to the Fact.8 model.
From the diagram attached, I like to know from those who has experience and more knowledgeable than I am whether I can duplicate(or close to it) this speakers so as to attain the performance as claimed by them.
BTW Martin King Quarter wavelength(MLTL) speaker, will this speaker achieve the same performance as TL speakers? Any idea.
