cone treatment

I have a pair of good old 2way speaker. woofers are 6 inch paper cone. they are becoming weak to absourb moisture and dust. I want to apply a coating to protect them. my question is what type of coating can i use for them. sory for bad english.
please help.

I don't know if it would work but maybe a weak PVA mix? ie. its what decorators use to seal surfaces.

I've used Visaton LTS 50. It doesn't stiffen the cone like PVA and was ideal on the 18W8531G00.
