Default Eric Forker's 77hz conical horn

I'm about to build Eric's design, but I did model some changes in hornrep that flatten the freq response and extend it a bit on top and bottom for my JBL2220 driver. The differences are:
S1=350 vs. 500
S2=2614 vs. 2978
L 12= 84cm vs. 77,3
Vtc= 1300 vs. 1000 (last shown on spk'er asylum, 1198 per spec's Eric sent me).

This basically adds a bit of length but mostly increases the throat
compression from 1.78:1 to 2.54:1, which from what I've read, should be fine for home use.

My questions if you anyone can help:

Do you think there is any concern with the changes I'm suggesting?

I can easily add the length to Eric's templates, but I can't figure out how
the VTC is determined in order to know what the template actually gives,
nor how to alter it to 1300.
