I'd like to clean up a bit by getting rid of some of this spare stuff laying around in my garage:

1) Still in the original shipping box Dayon 15" Subwoofer RSS390HF-4 15"
Dayton RSS390HF-4 15" Reference HF Subwoofer 4 Ohm | Parts-Express.com

2) 300w Bash plate amp.

3) Nearly complete La Scala cabinet from an old DIY project. Only 1 cabinet, no drivers.

I could also use a subwoofer for a bedroom tv. The idea is to get this stuff out of my way and put it to some use.

I'm betting merging these two would be less than ideal but better than nothing. Designing folded horns is a bit over my head right now, but how well would this combination work for something less than critical listening?

Bad idea? Go for it?

La Scala is only a very short horn thus no extended bass. By the help of a solid corner, I'd guess you might get down to 50Hz or so (or 40-some at the best), very loud, though.

So it's not a sub at all. You may see it as a bass module nevertheless.
