Easy, simple to use software for measuring FR, impulse, etc?

I 'd like to get some recommendations for simple, easy to use, inexpensive software for FR measurements, etc.

I'd like to reduce the peaks and dips in the FR and xover points. Nothing to exotic.

Also mics, power supply, any thing else that I would need to make a somewhat hassle free experience for a non engineering type (me!).

EMM6 or you can get one from Cross Spectrum if you want to spend more.
