Can someone tell me the purpose of the new cap it is called a whizzer cap? I plan to use this for a 4-way sound system I am building (Turbo) and use a proprietary f/g 6.5" horn (DDS). With this whizzer cap I do not need to use a phase plug to extend the frequency to above 4.0kHz??? I donot know if this is a line array speaker. Please let me know before I buy this speaker. Thanks!

In fact it looks better than the old Faital Pro M6N8-150, (on paper). It seems more smooth to the 3KHz mark but not good above this frequency. You can use it as a line array speaker, because of it's footprint/size for vocals.

Thanks for the reply, how does the B&C 6MDN44 and 18Sound 6ND410 in this horn to 4kHz or above? I heard of the KV speaker nd I think they use the 6ND410 wih a phase plug cap type and sounds ok but not as smooth as other horn loaded driver (Funktion/Turbo)?
