It depends on the angle of your iPad when the image is taken.

I realize this. I had an issue with an ad I posted. The photos show very much upright but for whatever reason the images posted sideways. I tried and retried before finally giving up. Oddly enough when I first got this ipad, safari wouldn't allow me to post attachments at all on some forum boards.

Marvellous.

Did you hand veneer these?

yep. it took quite a while as there was 28 different "sides" per speaker to veneer, and lots of corners to sand :D
i used paper backed veneer and the PVAc/iron method.

Thumbs up, Bjarne!

Please give us some info of drivers and xos, measuremennts to come?

tweeters are RAAL 140-15d dipole-AM with the autotech SEOS waveguide, mid is a jantzen ja8008 and woofers are Seas L26ROY.

the crossover is not optimal, and perfecting it is next on my to do list.
i just have to read up a bit of passive XO theory

right now the bass and woofers are actively crossed at 240hz LR46 and M-T crossed passively at 2500hz LR24.

i havent measured the speakers with the finished cabinet yet, but i did a quick 0-70 degree measurement of the prototype in my livingroom before commiting to the final design.

the mic was placed 80cm away from the speaker, aimed between the mid and tweeter.

as you can see, it still needs some work, but i like the sound so far.

LR46 on the woofers and bass? :O

If it becomes an issue you can always go the hybrid route, you have consistent dispersion so global EQ would solve most of your issues.
