Agreed, last I heard from Charlie he was becoming convinced dipole down to 20Hz was unnecessary and was heading off to experiment with sealed sub. I think the other end of the scale is interesting too, how late reflections at high frequency can relate to the size of the perceived space..... best to play and see what you like..

my LX521 will also have a sealed bass (down firing). I also intend to implement a passive Xover to the tweeter section so the speakers could be bi-amped. It will probably be the only LX521 driven by a tube amp on top :

D150 monster amp and funny tooobz
