After building my first 2 way bookshelf, I was looking for something a bit more "hi-fi" and have been working on this design for a while. At this point my drivers of choice are the Scan-Speak D3004/6600 for the tweeter and the Revelator 22W/4851T. I'm still working on the crossover, but any suggestions would be great.

Considering this 8" driver's beaming, I'd cross it at 1.5 to 1.6 kHz LR4. 2 kHz LR4 will be the highest possible. If you want to try LR2 with a delay network, you need to consider 7" or smaller driver.
If you want to cross low, the 7100 is a better choice than the 6600. The Peerless 810921 or the Dayton RS28A-4 is a low cost alternative for low crossover freq.
What's the cabinet volume? You will need at least 1 cu ft for this 8".

According to Zaph's measurements, the 7100 has lower distortions below 1.5 kHz than the 6600.
