Default Open DRC DI max fir taps

Could somebody please help clarify how many fir taps I can use with an Open DRC running @ 96kHz with 4x8 plugin? Can open DRC be run in mono to give me 3400 taps max or am I still limited to 2048?

It seems that 2048 is the max when running at 96kHz which is a shame as I need around 3000 and was hoping to be able to run in mono and use two units.
I have read that DDRC-22D allows 3072 taps per channel but I can't see this mentioned anywhere on the spec sheets. Can anyone clarify? Thanks!
