If the source is a PC with 24/ 96, to connect to the miniDSP

What has the best sound quality?

USB via:
- miniStreamer
- miniUSB

- miniDIGI via SPDIF

ie which is best?

what about airport express + nanoDigi DSP crossover + ADCs

Well I was thinking about apple airport express to stream music in wifi from PC.
The airport express has a optical output that could be connected to the nanoDIGI 2x8 K used as crossover. Then connect each of the output of the crossover to an amplifier via ADCs

I have it via SPDIF from my soundcard to a miniDIGI, but I would expect that a miniStreamer (or USB Streamer) would be a better source.

USBStreamer won't work via i2s because it doesn't support slave mode on its output. All miniDSP i2s ports must act as master.

Hi,

I'm currently using RaspyFi - Pi never sounded so good! (linux distribution for a raspberry) to wireless stream music to my usb (i2s) dac. Do do think it could stream to a mini dsp directly?
